Inspired by Buenos Aires — its streets, art, love, after-hours culture and its people — Turros is a story set in Lugano, shaped by an intimate gaze at one of the city’s most vibrant social landscapes. Produced in one of the large housing complexes built in the 1970s, the series unfolds through architecture, intimacy and everyday life.

Drawing from gestures, bodies, relationships and familiar scenes, the story develops a cinematic visual language without losing honesty or closeness. Rather than romanticising or appropriating that world, Turros is built from proximity and lived experience. The result is a personal narrative about the neighbourhood, desire, friendship, love, after-hours culture and the fragile beauty embedded in everyday life.
